The “Field of Cross Stones” monument of republican significance in Arinj village has 219 sub-monuments: 1 church (12-13 centuries) and 218 cross stones (5-20 centuries). The cross stone dated 1266 is displayed in the Louvre Museum, and the 1523 cross stone is displayed in the Ethnographic Museum of Sardarapat.

The chapel is located on the south-east side of the cross stones field spread on the south side of the village, at an altitude of 1307 m above sea level. The chapel almost repeats the structure of Karmrovor, but it is slightly larger in size. Back in the mid-1980s, the restoration architects of the project office of the General Department of Historical Monuments Preservation and Use under the Council of Ministers of the USSR made a sketch project for the restoration of the chapel that was destroyed, but the massive fragments were preserved in place. Earth-clearing works of the monument were also carried out.

Unfortunately, the economic conditions created in the 1990s did not allow the restoration of the chapel to be undertaken in time, and as a result of the state of the barrage over the past years, the monument has been surrounded by the latest burials to such an extent that currently the restoration of the chapel is greatly complicated due to the impossibility of bringing equipment to carry out the works.
